Like our cotton gift bag kit this one also has a practical purpose.
You know that feeling, pop into the shops to pick up a few bits and pieces, get to the checkout and… no bag, so you need to buy yet another plastic bag that you didn’t really want or lift everything in your arms and drop a trail of shopping as you make your way back to the car!
Well this little kit is here to help you with that problem. Our 100% cotton shopping bags are strong but light and flexible enough to fold neatly into a handbag or pocket.
You can make 4 or 8 cotton bags, each with your own design. If you are worried that you can’t draw a decent image, then don’t, as the kit includes templates for you to trace and make your own stamps. We include everything you will need to make attractive washable bags.

Simple shapes with a bit of pattern work really well, you could even add initials for an extra personal touch.
What can I do with my kit once I’ve made the bags?
You now have a lino cutting kit which you could use to print other fabrics. You can use the fabric paint on paper too. Make your own cards and wrapping paper. You could buy further lino block to make larger designs. The cutting kit will help you get to grips with the basics before moving onto bigger projects.
