Silk scarf kit

The mini kit is a quick and easy way to start doing a bit of crafting.

Depending on your design, you can colour 2 or 3 scarves per ink capsule. 

Do you ever dream of getting back to basics and making or adapting some of your clothes, but don't have the equipment or skills to make that possible? Or perhaps you remember your mum or granny making you clothes and wish you could carry on that tradition.

Our fun and easy to make scarf kit is a great way of making your own accessories and adding individuality to your wardrobe. Design your own bespoke silk scarf, you don't even need to be particularly artistic to achieve wonderful results! 

This mini kit is the perfect project to let your creative side flow.

What's in the box?

1 scarf kit

• 1 silk scarves 40cm x 150cm or 90cm x 90cm
• 1 x Quick Colour silk ink
• Set of instructions

2 or more scarf kit

• your selected number of scarves
• 1 x Quick Colour silk ink
• Set of instructions
• PLEASE ADD ANY ADDITIONAL INKS YOU WOULD LIKE TO YOUR ORDER, only one supplied with kit.

Choose the number of scarves and the number of ink colours that you would like to try from the drop down list.

Quick Colour ink is set by placing in the microwave, instructions will be included.

Our kit contains quality white silk scarves, supplied plain for your decoration. They are sheer 5mm Pongee silk. The mm refers to a Japanese unit of measure the 'momme'. 1 momme = approximately 3.75g per square metre of silk fabric. 

What can I do with the kit once I've made my scarves?

You can wear your scarves and receive lots of compliments! You can give your scarves away as presents. You will more than likely have ink left which you could use on more silk projects.
